Terms of Service
Last updated: August 2026
The terms that govern your use of safeidea.ai. The SAIL platform itself is governed by the Customer Agreement signed when your deployment is established, not by this page.
§ 01
Who we are, and what these terms cover
SafeIdea, LLC (“SafeIdea,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates this website at safeidea.ai. Our principal office is in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of this website: reading it, submitting the Talk to us form, and corresponding with us about what you read here.
These Terms do not govern the SAIL platform. If your organization has a SAIL deployment, the Customer Agreement signed when that deployment was established governs the platform, your data, and what we owe you. Where the Customer Agreement and these Terms disagree about the platform, the Customer Agreement controls.
§ 02
Accepting these terms
By using this website you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the site.
If you are using the site on behalf of an organization, you are telling us you have the authority to accept these Terms for that organization.
§ 03
This site is information, not advice
Everything published here — how SAIL works, the material on ownership and security, the worked examples — exists to explain a product. It is not legal advice, and it is not a legal opinion about your obligations.
SafeIdea is not a law firm and does not practice law. Nothing on this site creates an attorney-client relationship between you and SafeIdea, or between you and anyone associated with SafeIdea. Sending us an inquiry does not create one either.
Decisions about your professional obligations — client confidentiality, supervision of the work, what your rules of professional conduct require of you when you use any AI system — are yours. Where you need advice on them, get it from counsel who represents you.
§ 04
What you may do here
You may read this site, link to it, and quote from it with attribution for the ordinary purposes of evaluating SafeIdea, reporting on it, or discussing it.
§ 05
What you may not do
You may not:
- Use the site in any way that breaks the law
- Reach for any part of the site, or any system connected to it, that has not been made available to you
- Probe, scan, or test the site's security, or get around any authentication measure, without our written permission
- Interfere with how the site runs, or put an unreasonable load on it, including by automated means
- Scrape or harvest the site to train a machine-learning model, without our written permission
- Copy the site's design, code, or writing to build or market a competing product
- Use the SafeIdea or SAIL names, logos, or marks in a way that suggests an endorsement, affiliation, or partnership that does not exist
- Misrepresent who you are or who you work for when you contact us
§ 06
Who owns what is on the site
The site and everything in it — text, diagrams, code, layout, images, and the SafeIdea and SAIL names and logos — belongs to SafeIdea or to those who licensed it to us, and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. Section 04 is the whole of the permission we give you. Nothing else transfers.
The photographs of individuals on the Team page are published with those individuals' permission and are not licensed for any other use.
§ 07
What you send us
The Talk to us form and our email addresses are for ordinary business inquiries.
Do not send confidential client information. No client names, no matter details, no privileged material, nothing else you are obliged to protect. Our Privacy Policy says the same thing and explains what we do if it arrives anyway.
Anything else you send us that is not personal information — an idea, a suggestion, a feature request, a comment about the product — you send without placing us under any obligation of confidence, and you permit us to use it in our business without owing you anything for it. This is not us claiming your work. It is us being clear that an unsolicited suggestion does not create a secret we have to keep or a debt we have to pay.
How we handle the personal information you send is set out in the Privacy Policy.
§ 08
Links to other sites
Where we link to something outside safeidea.ai, we do it because we think it is worth reading. We do not control those sites, we are not responsible for what is on them, and a link is not an endorsement of everything the linked party says or does.
§ 09
The site is provided as it is
We publish this site carefully and we intend everything on it to be accurate on the day it goes up. Products change, and a page can fall behind.
The site is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, or that any description on it is complete or current.
Nothing on this site is an offer, a commitment, or a guarantee of any particular result, performance figure, cost saving, or outcome. Where the site describes what SAIL does, the binding description of what your deployment does is in your Customer Agreement.
§ 10
Limits on our liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, SafeIdea and its officers, members, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any lost profits, lost revenue, lost business, or lost or corrupted data, arising out of or relating to your use of this website — whether the claim is brought in contract, in tort, or on any other basis, and whether or not we were told such damages were possible.
To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability to you for all claims arising out of or relating to this website will not exceed one hundred United States dollars ($100).
These limits do not apply to liability that cannot be limited or excluded under the law that applies to you. Some jurisdictions do not allow some of these exclusions; in those places, these provisions apply as far as they are permitted and no further.
§ 11
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SafeIdea and its officers, members, employees, and agents against any claim, demand, loss, or expense — including reasonable legal fees — arising out of your use of this website in breach of these Terms or in breach of any law.
§ 12
Changes
We may change this site at any time, including by adding, altering, or removing any part of it, without notice.
We may also change these Terms. When we do, we update the “Last updated” line above. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the changed Terms. If a change matters to you and you do not accept it, stop using the site.
§ 13
The law that applies, and where disputes go
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
You and SafeIdea agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or this website will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts sitting in Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
§ 14
The rest
If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, that provision is narrowed or removed to the minimum extent necessary and the rest stays in force.
Our not enforcing a provision on one occasion is not a waiver of it.
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and — where one exists — your Customer Agreement, are the entire agreement between you and SafeIdea about this website.
