How SafeIdea collects, uses, and shares information when you visit safeidea.ai, submit the Talk to us form, or email us. No analytics, no trackers, no data sales.

Who we are
SafeIdea, LLC (“SafeIdea,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates this website at safeidea.ai. Our principal office is in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

What this policy covers
This Privacy Policy describes how SafeIdea collects, uses, and shares information when you:
- Visit safeidea.ai or any subpage of it
- Submit the Talk to us form on this website
- Email us or respond to email from us
The SAIL platform handles your business's confidential information separately and under the terms of the Customer Agreement signed when your deployment is established. SAIL runs inside a boundary you control and is built so that confidential information does not leave your deployment in identified form. The platform's data handling is described in the Customer Agreement, not here.

What we do not do
To be specific about what is not happening on this site:
- No analytics. We do not run Google Analytics, Plausible, Fathom, Mixpanel, Segment, or any other analytics tool on the site.
- No advertising trackers. No Meta pixels, no LinkedIn Insight tags, no Google Ads tags, no retargeting tags of any kind.
- No fingerprinting. We do not use device fingerprinting or any technique designed to identify a visitor across sessions or sites.
- No data sales. We do not sell information about visitors or inquirers. We do not share information about visitors or inquirers for the benefit of any third-party advertiser.
- No cross-site profiles. We do not maintain a profile of you assembled from your visits, your inquiries, or your communications, beyond the information you have actively sent us.
If any of this changes, we will update this policy and note the change in the “Last updated” line above.
§ 04
Information we collect
We collect three categories of information through this site.
Server logs
When you visit safeidea.ai, our hosting provider records standard server logs. These logs contain technical information that any web server generates: the IP address making the request, the user-agent string identifying your browser and operating system, the URL requested, the timestamp, and HTTP status codes. We use these logs for site security, debugging, and abuse prevention. We do not use them to track individual visitors or to build profiles.
Talk to us submissions
When you submit the Talk to us form, we collect the information you provide on that form. As of the effective date above, the form collects:
- Your name
- Your work email address
- Your company name
- An optional description of what you are exploring
Please do not include client names, matter details, or other confidential client information in the form. If you include such information anyway, we will treat it as confidential and discard it from our review, but we cannot make that the default. Please respect the instruction.
Email correspondence
If you email us at [email protected] or any other SafeIdea address, we receive the contents of your message and any information you choose to share in it. We host our email through Google Workspace.

How we use this information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes.
Review and respond to inquiries
The primary purpose of the Talk to us form is to let us read your inquiry and respond. Cart Reed (Chief Executive Officer) and Erich Wasserman (Chief Commercial Officer) review submissions. We may follow up with you by email to ask clarifying questions.
Communicate with prospective and current customers
We use your email address to communicate with you about your inquiry, next steps, and (if your business proceeds) scoping, onboarding, and account matters before and after your deployment.
Marketing follow-up
If a deployment is not the right fit at this time, we may keep your email address and follow up later with product updates or other information that may be relevant to your business. Every such email will include an unsubscribe link, and you may also email [email protected] at any time and ask us to stop.
Product roadmap
The “what are you exploring” question provides us with qualitative information about how legal-services businesses are using AI today. We use the aggregate signal from these responses to inform our product roadmap. We do not publish or share individual responses, and we do not associate roadmap notes with named inquirers outside our internal records.
Site security and fraud prevention
We use server logs and form-submission metadata to protect the site from abuse, including automated spam and denial-of-service attempts.
Legal compliance
We will use and disclose information as required by law, court order, or other legal process, and to enforce our rights.
§ 06
How we share information
We share information only as described below.
Service providers
We use a small number of service providers to operate the site and our email. As of the effective date:
- Our hosting provider serves safeidea.ai and processes server logs as part of standard web infrastructure.
- Google LLC provides our email service (Google Workspace), which means form submissions and any other email you send us are processed by Google as part of email delivery and storage.
These providers act on our behalf and under contractual restrictions. If we add or remove service providers, we will update this section.
Legal disclosures
We may disclose information when required by law, valid legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of SafeIdea, our customers, or others.
Business transactions
If SafeIdea is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction. If that happens, we will give inquirers and customers reasonable notice and an opportunity to ask questions.
We do not share information with third parties for those third parties' own marketing purposes.
§ 07
How long we keep information
- Customers. If your business becomes a customer, your inquiry information becomes part of your customer record. We keep customer records for the life of the account plus seven years after termination, except where a longer period is required by law.
- Other inquiries. We keep Talk to us submissions for twelve months and then delete them, unless you ask us to keep yours for a future conversation.
- Email correspondence. We retain email correspondence for as long as it is operationally useful and then delete it under our normal retention schedule.
- Server logs. Server logs are retained for a rolling 90-day period for security and debugging purposes, then deleted.
You may ask us to delete your information at any time by emailing [email protected]. We will honor the request unless we are required by law to retain it.
§ 08
Information security
We protect information using reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the type of information and the risks involved. No system is perfectly secure, and we do not claim ours is. If we become aware of a breach affecting your information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.
§ 09
Your rights and choices
Access, correction, and deletion
You may ask us to confirm what information we hold about you, correct it if it is wrong, or delete it. Email [email protected] with your request. We will respond within a reasonable time, typically within 30 days.
Marketing communications
Every marketing email we send includes an unsubscribe link. You may also email [email protected] and ask to be removed from any list.
California residents
California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”) as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (“CPRA”). You have the right to know what personal information we have collected about you, to request deletion of that information, to correct inaccurate information, and to opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information. SafeIdea does not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. To exercise any CCPA right, email [email protected]. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
Other state privacy laws
Residents of Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, and other states with comprehensive privacy laws have similar rights. To exercise them, email [email protected].
Residents outside the United States
SafeIdea is a United States company. If you are located outside the United States and you submit information through this site, you understand that your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States. If you are a resident of the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction with a comprehensive data protection regime, and you have questions about your rights, email [email protected].
§ 10
Children
This site is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has submitted information through this site, email [email protected] and we will delete it.
§ 11
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of the policy and, for material changes, post a notice on the site or email you if we have your address.
